Phase Engineering of Atomically Precise Nanoclusters (APNCs) of Gold and Beyond
Engineering the structural phase of materials is of paramount importance for both fundamental research and practical applications. In this Review, we summarize the recent progress in controlling the phases of atomically precise nanoclusters (APNCs) of gold, silver and copper, as well as bimetallic systems. The phase‐enabled material properties of APNCs

Ultra‐High‐Throughput Discovery of Multifunctional Polyphenolic Coatings on Droplet Microarrays
An ultra‐high‐throughput (UHT) combinatorial strategy enables the miniaturized synthesis and screening of ≈30 000 polyamine‐polyphenolic (PaPp) coatings using droplet microarrays (DMA). This approach reveals hundreds of previously unknown fluorescent, redox‐active, and antibacterial materials, including multifunctional, cell‐compatible surfaces ...

Weight of the Evidence on the Human Carcinogenicity of 2,4-D [PDF]
The phenoxy herbicide 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) is widely used to control the growth of weeds and broadleaf plants. We convened a panel of 13 scientists to weigh the evidence on the human carcinogenicity of 2,4-D. The panel based its findings on a review of the toxicological and epidemiological literature on 2,4-D and related phenoxy ...

A titania‐supported Co1/Ru single‐atom alloy catalyst enables efficient polypropylene hydrogenolysis. Ru─Co─Ru motifs maintain Ru activity while suppressing excessive chain scission to gaseous products. Both virgin and waste plastics achieve high, environmentally and economically optimal C11+ liquid yields, supporting sustainable chemical recycling ...

Light Switchable Ionic Conductivity of Arylazopyrazole Modified Polysiloxanes
We present a polysiloxane functionalized with a novel arylazopyrazole dye that undergoes reversible photoisomerization. Upon lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide addition and UV irradiation, the polymer exhibits a shift in tan(d) toward higher frequencies and enhanced ionic conductivity.

2,4-D Interactions with Glyphosate and Sodium Bicarbonate
2,4-D has been reported to antagonize glyphosate activity on grass weed species. In addition, sodium bicarbonate antagonized 2,4-D activity on broadleaf species.

Shaping Carbon Nitrides for Advanced Macrostructures
This review examines how carbon nitride can be shaped through a range of printing and interfacial assembly methods. By bringing together additive manufacturing and liquid–liquid structuring concepts, carbon nitride is moving beyond its traditional powder‐based photocatalyst form toward digitally designed robust macroscale architectures with high design
