An approach to quantum 2D gravity

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2023
We consider a model of 2D gravity with the action quadratic in curvature and represent path integrals as integrals over the SL(2,R) invariant Gaussian functional measure.

Islands in asymptotically flat 2D gravity [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
The large-N limit of asymptotically flat two-dimensional dilaton gravity coupled to N free matter fields provides a useful toy model for semiclassical black holes and the information paradox.

Wormholes in 2d Horǎva-Lifshitz quantum gravity [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2021
We quantize the two-dimensional projectable Horǎva-Lifshitz gravity with a bi-local as well as space-like wormhole interaction. The resulting quantum Hamiltonian coincides with the one obtained through summing over all genus in the string field theory ...

2D behavior of Gravity at Large Distances

open access: green, 2023
We show that the entropy or information flow of a gravitational system constrains the dependence of gravitational force on radial distance r which for very large r is equivalent to gravity in two dimensions. This explains the "origin" of dark matter and provides a natural solution to the problem of flat rotation curves of galaxies at very large ...

Euclidian 2D Gravity with Torsion [PDF]

open access: green, 1993
Closing a gap in the literature on the subject, the local solutions of 2D-gravity with torsion are given for Euclidian signature. For the topology of a cylinder the system is quantized.

Fermions in 2D Lorentzian Quantum Gravity [PDF]

open access: green, 2003
We implement Wilson fermions on 2D Lorentzian triangulation and determine the spectrum of the Dirac-Wilson operator. We compare it to the spectrum of the corresponding operator in the Euclidean background. We use fermionic particle to probe the fractal properties of Lorentzian gravity coupled to $c=1/2$ and $c=4$ matter.

Quenching 2D quantum gravity [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1994
We simulate the Ising model on a set of fixed random $ ^3$ graphs, which corresponds to a {\it quenched} coupling to 2D gravity rather than the annealed coupling that is usually considered. We investigate the critical exponents in such a quenched ensemble and compare them with measurements on dynamical $ ^3$ graphs, flat lattices and a single fixed $

Bulk Correlation Functions in 2d Quantum Gravity [PDF]

open access: greenTheoretical and Mathematical Physics, 2006
We compute bulk 3- and 4-point tachyon correlators in the 2d Liouville gravity with non-rational matter central charge c<1, following and comparing two approaches. The continuous CFT approach exploits the action on the tachyons of the ground ring generators deformed by Liouville and matter ``screening charges''.
