Integrated gravity, two dimensional (2D) seismic and field data (lithostratigraphy and tectonic deformations) help to understand the structural setting of the Triassic evaporites in the Atlas Mountains of northern Tunisia.

Trace anomaly and Hawking effect in 2D dilaton gravity theories [PDF]
We investigate the classical and semiclassical features of generic 2D, matter-coupled, dilaton gravity theories. In particular, we show that the mass, the temperature and the flux of Hawking radiation associated with 2D black holes are invariant under ...

COSMOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS IN 2D POINCARÉ GRAVITY [PDF]
The 2D model of gravity with zweibeins ea and the Lorentz connection one-form [Formula: see text] as independent gravitational variables is considered. The solutions of classical equations of motion which can be interpreted as cosmological ones are studied.

In this work, we extend the 2d topological gravity model of [1] to have as its bulk action any open/closed TQFT obeying Atiyah’s axioms. The holographic duals of these topological gravity models are ensembles of 1d topological theories with random ...

Bulk Correlation Functions in 2d Quantum Gravity [PDF]
We compute bulk 3- and 4-point tachyon correlators in the 2d Liouville gravity with non-rational matter central charge c<1, following and comparing two approaches. The continuous CFT approach exploits the action on the tachyons of the ground ring generators deformed by Liouville and matter ``screening charges''.

2D QUANTUM GRAVITY: THREE STATES OF SURFACES [PDF]
Two-dimensional random surfaces are studied numerically by the dynamical triangulation method. In order to generate various kinds of random surfaces, two higher derivative terms are added to the action. The structures of surfaces, two higher derivative terms are added to the action. The structures of surfaces in the two-dimensional parameter space are
