Modular Control of PEG‐Poly(2‐Oxazoline) Co‐Assembly Enables Tunable Aggregate Properties for Intraocular Pressure Management

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A thermo‐responsive poly(2‐oxazoline)‐based injectable formulation is developed to modulate intraocular pressure (IOP) in both normal and hypotonic eyes. By adjusting the PEG content, the aggregation behavior is finely tuned, enabling IOP elevation without long‐term deposition.

5′-Oxospiro-(fluorene-9,4′-imidazolidine)-2′-thione

open access: yesMolbank
The structure verification of 5′-oxospiro-(fluorene-9,4′-imidazolidine)-2′-thione by NMR is reported. Toward this aim, 2D NMR techniques including 1H-1H COSY, HMQC, and HMBC experiments were used to assist with the assignment of the 1H and 13C chemical ...

Shedding light on reaction mechanisms : structure determination of reactive intermediates and investigation of protein structural dynamics using 2D-IR spectroscopy

open access: yes, 2013
Detailed knowledge of reaction mechanisms is key to understanding chemical, biological, and biophysical processes. For many reasons, it is desirable to comprehend how a reaction proceeds and what influences the reaction rate and its products.

Flash Assembloids: A Rapid Biofabrication of a Platform for Modeling Early Glioblastoma Invasion at the Glioblastoma–Brain Organoid Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a bioengineered assembloid (ASM) system combining glioblastoma (GBM) cells in oxidized alginate (OA) microgels with dorsal organoids (DOs). This model simulates brain tumor‐host interactions, revealing enhanced GBM invasion, altered gene expression, and aggressive infiltration patterns, demonstrating ASM as a valuable platform for ...

Solution conformation of peptide PTSP in DMSO-d6 analyzed by 2D NMR(抑前胸腺肽溶液构象的2D NMR初步分析)

open access: yesZhejiang Daxue xuebao. Lixue ban, 2005

Integrated Visible Light and Oxidant Protection Through Multifunctional Sunscreens

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
High‐energy visible radiation (HEVR), although less energetic than UV light, penetrates deeper into the skin and contributes to photoaging, pigmentation disorders, and oxidative stress. The development of new HEVR‐targeted filters, therefore, represents not only a scientific challenge but also a pressing public health and cosmetic industry need.

A Systematic Study of GelMA‐Carbopol Bioinks for High‐Fidelity Extrusion 3D Bioprinting at Physiological Temperatures

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Gonzalez Martinez and collaborators develop a strategy to formulate high performance GelMA‐based bioinks with low solids contents. The resulting bioinks enable 3D bioprinting at 37 °C of high‐fidelity structures with tunable mechanical properties that support high cell viability and function.

Mobile 2D NMR quantitative evaluation method and its application at shale oil wellsite: A case study of the second member of Funing Formation, Subei Basin

open access: yesYouqicang pingjia yu kaifa
Porosity and oil saturation are critical parameters in shale oil reservoir evaluation, but current laboratory measurements face challenges. In contrast, using wellsite mobile two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (2D NMR) measurements can minimize ...

Interpreting 2D-NMR spectra using Grad-CAM [PDF]

open access: yesResearch Ideas and Outcomes
It has been shown that it is possible to train a (simple) neural network to classify nuclear magnetic resonance spectra by a substructures either being part of the chemical structure measured or not.

Immunoinflammatory Mechanisms and Biocompatibility of Bioactive Dental Biomaterials: From Fundamental Insights to Clinical Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Surface‐host dialogue at the implant interface governs biological fate and osseointegration. Surface physicochemical properties of titanium (Ti) dental implants, including microgrooves, nanopatterns, nanotopography, roughness, and wettability, modulate the initial adsorption of proteins and the formation of a dynamic biointerface.
