A Radial Velocity Study of CTCV J1300-3052 [PDF]
We present time-resolved spectroscopy of the eclipsing, short period cataclysmic variable CTCV J1300-3052. Using absorption features from the secondary star, we determine the radial velocity semi-amplitude of the secondary star to be K2 = 378 \pm 6 km/s, and its projected rotational velocity to be v sin i = 125 \pm 7 km/s.

The binary companion of PSR J1740−3052 [PDF]
Abstract We report on the identification of a near-infrared counterpart to the massive (>11 M⊙) binary companion of pulsar J1740−3052. An accurate celestial position of PSR J1740−3052 is determined from interferometric radio observations.

Baseline tumour burden and prognosis in breast cancer treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors [PDF]
Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI), alone or in combination with other agents, are now standard of care for a range of tumour types, including breast cancer. Radiological assessment of baseline tumour burden has been associated with prognosis

Phosphodiesterase-4 inhibition alters gene expression and improves isoniazid-mediated clearance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in rabbit lungs. [PDF]
Tuberculosis (TB) treatment is hampered by the long duration of antibiotic therapy required to achieve cure. This indolent response has been partly attributed to the ability of subpopulations of less metabolically active Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb ...

Phosphodiesterase 4 inhibition reduces innate immunity and improves isoniazid clearance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the lungs of infected mice. [PDF]
Tuberculosis (TB) caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) is one of the leading infectious disease causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Though current antibiotic regimens can cure the disease, treatment requires at least six months of drug ...

Aerosol Delivery of Palivizumab in a Neonatal Lamb Model of Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection
(1) Background: Palivizumab has been an approved preventative monoclonal antibody for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection for over two decades. However, due to its high cost and requirement for multiple intramuscular injections, its use has been ...
