X-ray diffraction and NMR data for the study of the location of idebenone and idebenol in model membranes

open access: yesData in Brief, 2016
Here we present some of our data about the interaction of idebenone and idebenol with dipalmitoyl-phosphatidylcholine (DPPC). In particular, we include data of small angle X-ray diffraction (SAXD) and wide angle X-ray diffraction experiments, obtention ...

Phase‐Pure and Size‐Tunable Tin Halide Perovskite Quantum Dots

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A trioctylphosphine oxide modulated protocol allows for the synthesis and study of the optical properties of a broad library of tin halide perovskite quantum dots across multiple A‐ and X‐site compositions with precise size tuning while eliminating unwanted 2D phases.

Mitochondria and Neuromast Tagging With Fluorescent Gallium‐Triapine Analogues: In Cellulo MP FLIM and Zebrafish Live Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fluorescent BODIPY‐conjugated thiosemicarbazone ligands and their Ga(III), In(III), and Fe(III) complexes, inspired by Triapine, are developed as theranostic agents. Multiphoton FLIM and confocal microscopy in cancer cells and zebrafish reveal real‐time uptake, mitochondrial localisation, and whilst spectroscopic assays indicated preserved complex ...

31P Solid‐State NMR‐Enabled Development of a Pt/Aluminum Tripolyphosphate Catalyst for Selective C─O Bond Hydrogenolysis of Phenols

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
31P solid‐state nuclear magnetic resonance analysis revealed the presence of aluminum tripolyphosphate on the surface of a platinum/aluminum condensed phosphate mixture (ACPM) catalyst. This finding led to the development of a Pt/aluminum tripolyphosphate (Pt/ATPP) catalyst for the selective hydrogenolysis of phenols to arenes.

31P‐NMR studies of tRNA [PDF]

open access: yesFEBS Letters, 1974
Unlike other spectroscopic methods, 31P-NMR provides direct information on the state of the phosphate residues of nucleic acids. Cueron [l] measured the 31P-NMR spectra of two individual tRNAs by routine techniques; the time of accumulation was 4 to 8 hr.

Nickelferrite on Pnictogen Functionalized Carbon Nanohorns. Bifunctional ORR and OER Catalysts in Rechargeable Zinc‐Air Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A systematic study on the performance of N,P‐doped NiFe2O4@CNH bi‐functional hybrid electrocatalysts for rechargeable zinc‐air batteries is presented. The importance of P, N‐doping and the intimate tethering of nickel‐ferrite nanocubes on the carbon nano‐horn (CNH) surface which are well dispersed on the surface of N,P doped CNHs.

An IscS Persulfide Donates the Sulfur for Ribosomal Protein uL16 Thioamidation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
YcaO‐catalyzed thioamidation of the ribosomal subunit protein uL16 is widespread in Pseudomonadota bacteria. We identify the iron–sulfur cluster cysteine desulfurase IscS as the sulfur donor via an IscS persulfide and observe direct IscS–uL16 interactions.

31P NMR of tissue phospholipids: a comparison of three tissue pre-treatment procedures.

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1989
Extracted tissue phospholipid 31P NMR profiles, obtained from individual porcine lenses subjected to two preservation procedures (acetone desiccation and freeze-drying) and a perchloric acid-extraction procedure, were compared to those from freshly ...
