Complications Associated with Intraperitoneal 32P
Gynecologic Oncology, 1994The charts of all patients having received intraperitoneal 32P in the Indiana University Department of Radiation Oncology were retrospectively reviewed for complications and potentially related factors. Ninety-five patients had received this therapy, with a mean follow-up of 43.6 months. The majority of patients (81) had ovarian cancer.

32P-therapy in polycythemia vera
Klinische Wochenschrift, 1975A group of 52 consecutive patients with polycythemia vera was submitted to long-term therapy with radioactive phosphorus (32P). Initial phase of therapy induced complete remissions (normalization of hematogram; spleen not palpable) in 45% of the patients, and partial remissions in the remaining 55%.

Development of Microplate-radioluminography for 32P
Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 1998Basic research for designing a microplate which can be applied to determination of 32P by radioluminography was carried out. It was proven that 32P can be determined by using the microplate which has plural planchets placed at intervals on a thin plate and a brass collimator that fills the gaps between the planchets.

Abstract A 32 P-labeling method for the base composition analysis of nonradioactive DNA was developed consisting of the digestion of DNA to deoxynucleoside 3′-monophosphates by incubation with a mixture of micrococcal nuclease and spleen phosphodiesterase, transfer of 32 P-label from [γ- 32 P]ATP to the 5′-hydroxyl groups of the mononucleotides by ...

32P Radiosynoviorthesis in Children With Hemophilia
Journal of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, 2002This study was performed to prospectively evaluate the safety, efficacy, and cost of injecting P-colloid into joints of children with hemophilia and synovitis to decrease the rate of joint bleeding.Eligibility included a diagnosis of hemophilia, history of more than six hemorrhages into a joint within a 6-month period, and evidence of synovitis by ...

Abstract The ChE- and AE- activities and the 32 P-concentration of the plasma from rats 1 and 24 hr after s.c. injection of 32 P-sarin (200 μg kg ) were measured. One hr after the injection the ChE was inhibited to approx. 10 per cent and the AE to 40–50 per cent; 23 hr later 50 per cent of the ChE activity was found to be restored and the AE

The labelling of human serum by 32P-DiIsopropylphosphorofluoridate (DF32P)
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta, 19571. 1. On paper electrophoresis the pseudo-cholinesterase activity of human serum is localised between the α-2 and the β-peak. 2. 2. The same localisation is found after electrophoresis on starch columns. 3. 3. Thoroughly dialysed DF32P treated human sera as well as sera obtained from humans a few days after the injection of DF32P were submitted to zone

Abstract One hr after the i.v. injection of 50 μg/kg of 32 P-sarin into rats considerable concentrations of 32 P containing material were found in the blood, the kidneys and the lungs and relatively small concentrations in the brain and the m.gastrocnemius. In rats which had received an i.p.

Enzymatic synthesis of [β-32P]ADP using adenylate kinase and [γ-32P]ATP
Analytical Biochemistry, 1985An enzymatic method for the synthesis of [beta-32P]ADP from [gamma-32P]ATP is described. This substrate is required for the assay of ADPase and is not commercially available. The method described results in a preparation of [beta-32P]ADP of high purity with a yield of approximately 40% the theoretical obtainable.

Spin-parity combinations in 32P from the 34S(, α)32P reaction
Nuclear Physics A, 1977Abstract The reaction 34S( d , α)32P has been studied using a tensor-polarized deuteron beam at bombarding energies of 8.25, 8.50, 8.75, 9.25 and 9.50 MeV. From measurement of the tensor analyzing power, T20 when α-particles are emitted near 0°, spin-parity combinations have been assigned to 23 levels in 32P in the excitation energy range 1.0 to ...
