Investigation of the Role of Organic Acids on the Phosphorus and Zinc Uptake by Corn in Calcareous Soils by Using 32P and 65Zn Radioisotopes [PDF]

open access: yesمجله علوم و فنون هسته‌ای, 2014
To investigate the effect of oxalic and citric organic acids on the uptake of Phosphorus and Zinc by corn (Zea mays L.), an experiment was conducted by the use of radioactive potassium phosphate and zinc sulfate fertilizers in microcosm and greenhouse ...

A biosynthetic method for the preparation of high specific activity 32P-labeled phospholipids

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1976
32P-Labeled phospholipids with specific activities up to 400 mCi/mmole as well as [32P]CDP-choline were prepared by cultivation of mouse fibroblasts or mouse Ehrlich ascites cells in the presence of [32P]orthophosphate.

Impact of PNKP mutations associated with microcephaly, seizures and developmental delay on enzyme activity and DNA strand break repair [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Microcephaly with early-onset, intractable seizures and developmental delay (MCSZ) is a hereditary disease caused by mutations in polynucleotide kinase/phosphatase (PNKP), a DNA strand break repair protein with DNA 5'-kinase and DNA 3'-phosphatase ...

CINÉTICA DO FÓSFORO EM TECIDOS DE CORDEIROS RECEBENDO DIETAS COM CONCENTRAÇÕES CRESCENTES DO MINERAL

open access: yesRevista U.D.C.A Actualidad & Divulgación Científica, 2014

Rapid Phosphatidic Acid Accumulation in Response to Low Temperature Stress in Arabidopsis is Generated through Diacylglycerol Kinase

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2013
Phosphatidic acid (PtdOH) is emerging as an important signalling lipid in abiotic stress responses in plants. The effect of cold stress was monitored using 32P-labelled seedlings and leaf discs of Arabidopsis thaliana.

Interdependência na absorção e redistribuição de fósforo entre planta mãe e filha de bananeira Interdependence between mother and daughter banana plants in their absorption and redistribution of phosphorus

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Fruticultura, 2005
Apesar da importância do conhecimento da interdependência entre planta mãe e filha da bananeira, para adoção de manejos adequados, pouco tem sido pesquisado no Brasil.

Level structure of 32P from 31P(d, p)32P reactions [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics, 1962
Abstract States up to an excitation energy of 6.8 MeV of the nucleus 32 P are investigated by studying the angular distribution of protons in the reaction 31 P(d, p) 32 P. One new state is found at 1.51 MeV. A state previously reported at 6.56 MeV is found to be a doublet with excitation energies 6.58 MeV and 6.53 MeV. The angular distributions for

Phosphorus utilization by corn as affected by green manure, nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers

open access: yesPesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira, 2012
The objective of this work was to evaluate the utilization by corn plants of P from triple superphosphate fertilizer labeled with 32P (32P‑TSP), and of P from soil as affected by N rates and by the green manures (GM) sunn hemp (Crotalaria juncea) and ...

Phosphoproteins and protein-kinase activity in isolated envelopes of pea (Pisum sativum L.) chloroplasts [PDF]

open access: yes, 1985
A protein kinase was found in envelope membranes of purified pea (Pisum sativum L.) chloroplasts. Separation of the two envelope membranes showed that most of the enzyme activity was localized in the outer envelope.

A rapid biosynthetic method for the preparation of radioactive phosphatidyl-CMP(CDP-diacylglycerol) of high specific activity.

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1978
A procedrue is described for the preparation of [32P]phosphatidyl-CMP(CDP-diacylglycerol) from rat pineal glands incubated with [32P]orthophosphate and DL-propranolol. The product is 95% radiopure and a high specific acitivity.
