We present an open source tool, 3D Diff, that supports differencing and merging of 3D models. As modeling software grows in use, and as 3D models get more complex and require input from more users, there is an emerging problem of maintaining large scenes over time.

The development of new research methods significantly changed our views on the role that the 3D organization of the genome plays in its functional activity. It was found that the genome is subdivided into structural-functional units that restrict the area of enhancer action at the level of spatial organization.

A method of 3-dimensional (3D) sonography (US) is described in this paper. Special emphasis is laid upon the basic problem of generating well-orientated 3D visualizations on the basis of different evaluation techniques. Virtual Worlds present a 3D space to the user. However, input devices are typically 2D. This unnatural mapping reduces the engagement of the experience. We are exploring using Wii controllers to provide 3D gesture-based input to the 3D virtual world, Second Life.
