Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Compared with 2D face recognition systems, 3D facial recognition has been a popular area of study in academia and industry because of its ability to detect human faces in an unconstrained environment more efficiently.

Protocol for Systematic Literature Review of Face Recognition in Uncontrolled Environment
One of the major challenges encountered by current face recognition techniques lies in the difficulties of handling varying poses, i.e., recognition of faces in arbitrary in-depth rotations. The face image differences caused by rotations are often larger

Occlusions in Face Recognition: a 3D Approach
The real challenge in face detection and recognition technologies is the ability to handle all those scenarios where subjects are non-cooperative and the acquisition phase is unconstrained. In the last few years a great deal of effort has been spent to improve the performances where cooperative subjects are acquired in controlled conditions.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

3D Morphable Model Construction for Robust Ear and Face Recognition
Recent work suggests that the human ear varies significantly between different subjects and can be used for identification. In principle, therefore, using ears in addition to the face within a recognition system could improve accuracy and robustness ...

Adaptive face modelling for reconstructing 3D face shapes from single 2D images
Example‐based statistical face models using principle component analysis (PCA) have been widely deployed for three‐dimensional (3D) face reconstruction and face recognition.
