Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

3D Modelling and Printing Technology to Produce Patient-Specific 3D Models [PDF]
A comprehensive knowledge of mitral valve (MV) anatomy is crucial in the assessment of MV disease. While the use of three-dimensional (3D) modelling and printing in MV assessment has undergone early clinical evaluation, the precision and usefulness of this technology requires further investigation.

New series of 3D lattice integrable models
In this paper we present a new series of 3-dimensional integrable lattice models with $N$ colors. The case $N=2$ generalizes the elliptic model of our previous paper.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

models of muscle spindles: From traditional methods to 3D bioprinting strategies
Muscle spindles are key proprioceptive mechanoreceptors composed of intrafusal fibres that regulate kinaesthetic sensations and reflex actions. Traumatic injuries and neuromuscular diseases can severely impair the proprioceptive feedback, yet the ...

Comparison of intraoral and extraoral scanners on the accuracy of digital model articulation [PDF]
Introduction: Orthodontists increasingly rely on digital models in clinical practice. The ability of modern scanners to articulate digital models must be scientifically evaluated.

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

Patient-specific colorectal-cancer-associated fibroblasts modulate tumor microenvironment mechanics
Summary: Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) play a major role in reorganizing the physical tumor micro-environment and changing tissue stiffness. Herein, using an engineered three-dimensional (3D) model that mimics the tumor’s native biomechanical ...
