Polarizable Vanadium Dipoles Promote Water Dissociation on Vanadium‐Based Metal Organic Framework

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The polarization of unpaired V 3d electrons weakens the H─O bond to improve water dissociation by the dual Vδ+:O─H and Pλ−:H─O coupling hydrogen bonds formation and relaxation. P@V‐MOF electrocatalyst shows low overpotentials (94 mV in acid, 178 mV in neutral, and 77 mV in alkaline solutions) with excellent stability for effective overall water ...

3D Self-Deployment Algorithm in Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2015
The sensor deployment problem of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is a key issue in the researches and the applications of WSNs. Fewer works focus on the 3D autonomous deployment.

On the Overconfidence Problem in Semantic 3D Mapping

open access: yes2024 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA)
Semantic 3D mapping, the process of fusing depth and image segmentation information between multiple views to build 3D maps annotated with object classes in real-time, is a recent topic of interest. This paper highlights the fusion overconfidence problem, in which conventional mapping methods assign high confidence to the entire map even when they are ...

Enhanced Terahertz Thermoelectricity Via Engineered Van Hove Singularities and Nernst Effect in Moiré Superlattices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Moiré band engineering in graphene/hexagonal boron nitride–based superlattices unlocks van Hove singularities (VHSs) for terahertz (THz) optoelectronics. Tuning the Fermi level near these singularities, associated with secondary neutrality points (SNPs), enhances the photothermoelectric response.

PEMODELAN OBYEK TIGA DIMENSI DARI GAMBAR SINTETIS DUA DIMENSI DENGAN PENDEKATAN VOLUMETRIC

open access: yesJurnal Informatika, 2005
In this paper, we implemented 3D object modeling from 2D input images. Modeling is performed by using volumetric reconstruction approaches by using volumetric reconstruction approaches, the 3D space is tesselated into discrete volumes called voxels.

A QoS Aware Resource Allocation Strategy for 3D A/V Streaming in OFDMA Based Wireless Systems

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2014
Three-dimensional (3D) video is expected to be a “killer app” for OFDMA-based broadband wireless systems. The main limitation of 3D video streaming over a wireless system is the shortage of radio resources due to the large size of the 3D traffic.

HTTP/2 and QUIC for virtual worlds and the 3D Web?

open access: yes, 2015
The continuing advances in computer graphics and Internet bandwidths are supporting a gradual convergence between multi-user virtual worlds (MUVW), such as Second Life and OpenSim (SL/OS), and the nascent 3D Web.

Well-posedness of the 3D Peskin problem

open access: yesMathematical Models and Methods in Applied Sciences
This paper introduces the 3D Peskin problem: a two-dimensional elastic membrane immersed in a three-dimensional steady Stokes flow. We obtain the equations that model this free boundary problem and show that they admit a boundary integral reduction, providing an evolution equation for the elastic interface.
