Metal‐Dependent Effects and Crowding Robustness of Pseudomonas fluorescens Esterase I
Pseudomonas fluorescens esterase I retains catalytic activity in metal‐rich and crowded environments, despite metal‐specific inhibitory effects. These findings highlight its robustness for biocatalytic applications in complex environments. Industrial biocatalysts are strongly influenced by their physicochemical environment, yet systematic studies on ...

Semi‐rational engineering yields a thermostable Bacillus simplex formate dehydrogenase variant (Q125F) with a 25‐fold longer half‐life at 60°C and strong resistance to chemo‐inactivation. Molecular dynamics reveal enhanced π–π interactions stabilizing a flexible loop and enabling efficient NADH regeneration for robust biocatalytic detoxification ...

Toward Reliable Spectroscopic Analysis of Reaction Kinetics in Polaritonic Chemistry
Vibrational strong coupling has been reported to modify chemical reaction rates, yet its mechanism remains unresolved. We expose pitfalls in UV/Vis‐based kinetic analyses and emphasize the need for standardized cavity protocols. ABSTRACT Recent reports suggest that chemical reaction rates can change inside an optical cavity.

Glycomimetics with triazoline and aziridine groups were synthesised via diastereoselective Huisgen cycloaddition from glycosyl azides. Density functional theory was applied to define the mechanism for BF3 promoted aziridine formation. Triazoline and aziridine derivatives were synthesised by diastereo‐ and regioselective Huisgen cycloaddition of 2,3,4,6‐

Exploring Diverse Glycone Preferences of Aspergillus rutinosidases
Rutinosidases from Aspergillus niger (AnRut) and A. oryzae (AoRut) catalyze hydrolysis and transglycosylation with non‐natural glycosides as donors, enabling glycosylation of alcoholic and phenolic acceptors. AnRut exhibits broad glycone promiscuity, while AoRut has a narrower substrate scope.
