Geophysical investigation at Sainte‐Marguerite‐sur‐Mer (Normandy, France): From a supposed landfill to a forgotten military network?

open access: yesNear Surface Geophysics, EarlyView.
Abstract This study focuses on characterising a strong and unexpected anomaly observed during an electromagnetic induction (EMI) survey conducted on the chalk cliff plateau at Sainte‐Marguerite‐sur‐Mer, in the Normandy region, France. The site was selected for a long‐term study of chalk cliff coastal erosion that began in 2017 and has been studied for ...

Sub-millimeter Wave 183 GHz and 366 GHz MMIC Membrane Sub-harmonic Mixers

open access: yes, 2011
The design, fabrication and testing of broadband fixed-tuned 183 GHz and 366 GHz sub-harmonic mixers is discussed. Two mixer circuits using planar Schottky diodes monolithically integrated with RF/LO and IF matching and filtering networks onto a 3.7 um ...

Exploring the causes and impact of pediatric complicated mild traumatic brain injuries

open access: yesPM&R, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in children, with mild TBI (mTBI) accounting for approximately 80% of cases. Complicated mTBI (c‐mTBI) is characterized by radiographic evidence of intracranial abnormalities and/or skull fractures.

Endophytic fungi from two isolated Bethencourtia palmensis populations: metabolomic and bioactivity fingerprinting

open access: yesPest Management Science, EarlyView.
We compared two island populations of Bethencourtia palmensis and their culturable endophytic fungi, revealing distinct plant chemistries and a higher biopesticidal potential in the endophytic fungi from La Palma population along with high potential for the discovery of novel compounds.

Novel tetronamides derived from mucobromic acid: synthesis, structural elucidation, DFT calculations and phytotoxic activity

open access: yesPest Management Science, EarlyView.
The acyclic mucobromic acid, activated by (1S)‐(+)‐10‐camphorsulfonic acid, afforded the chiral compound 1b, precursor for aza‐Michael addition/elimination on the butenolide yielding tetronamides 2b‐7b. Their relative SRSR configuration was confirmed by the spectrometric methods, DFT calculation and statistical methods.

Low‐Complexity Hybrid Beamforming for LEO Satellites: Beam Update Rate Analysis and Advanced Adaptive Precoding

open access: yesInternational Journal of Satellite Communications and Networking, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellations offer unprecedented opportunities for global broadband connectivity but pose significant beamforming challenges due to rapid platform motion and stringent onboard hardware constraints. Fully digital architectures, while optimal in theory, remain impractical for satellite payloads, motivating ...

Generation of high repetition rate (>100 GHz) ultrastable pulse trains from a coherent optical beat-signal through non-linear compression using a high SBS-threshold fiber

open access: yes
A stable beat-signal produced by two comb-phase-locked CW lasers separated by >100 GHz is nonlinearly compressed in a high SBS-threshold highly nonlinear ...
