The Synthesis Use of a Difluorinated Amino‐Benzo‐Cinnoline Dyes (ABCDyes) Enables Fine Tuning of Emission Through Double SNAr Late‐Stage Functionalization

An efficient synthesis of difluorinated amino‐benzo‐cinnoline dyes (ABCDyes) is reported. Their use for the late‐stage introduction of internal dinucleophilic species through a double SNAr reaction enables straightforward access to previously unexplored ABCDye analogs displaying tunable emission ranging from green to red.
