Free‐Form Microfluidic Microneedle Array Patches

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Microfluidic microneedle array patches (MAPs) integrate hollow microneedles with embedded microfluidic channels, fabricated using high‐resolution 3D printing, to enable controlled transdermal delivery of liquid, mixed, or reconstituted therapeutics.

Cr3+‐Activated Tunable Near‐Infrared Mechanoluminescence Materials for Potential Water Pollutant Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Four kinds of magnetite type NIR‐ML materials are synthesized by high‐temperature solid‐state reaction method. The continuous spectral tuning from a sharp R line (698 nm) to a broadband range (650–1000 nm) is realized based on composite engineering, concentration engineering, and lattice engineering strategies.

Biopolymer‐Templated Hierarchical 3D‐Structured Gold Nanoparticle/Graphene Oxide Hybrid Materials for Ultrasensitive Surface‐Enhanced Raman Scattering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable bio‐templated approach using spray‐coating and thermal annealing fabricates cellulose nanofibril (CNF) films loaded with gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) and graphene oxide (GO) hybrids as Surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrates. The 3D CNF network ensures uniform Au NPs distribution, while annealing induces more hotspots, confirmed ...

Robust Bio‐Textiles Via Mycelium‐Cellulose Interface Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a new class of sustainable textiles by growing mycelium, the root‐like structure of fungi, into cellulose‐based fabrics. This semi‐interpenetrating mycelium‐cellulose fiber network combines the strength and breathability of natural fibers with the water‐resistant and adhesive properties of mycelium, resulting in a robust, scalable,
