1-(3-Chlorophenyl)-5-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(5-chlorothiophen-2-yl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole

open access: yesIUCrData, 2017
In the title compound, C19H13Cl3N2S, the central dihydropyrazole ring adopts an envelope conformation with the chiral C atom as the flap. In the crystal, molecules are linked by weak C—H...Cl hydrogen bonds into supramolecular chains propagating along ...

Static potential in baryon [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Atom.Nucl. 67 (2004) 548-552; Yad.Fiz. 67 (2004) 566-570, 2003
The baryon static potential is calculated in the framework of field correlator method and is shown to match the recent lattice results. The effects of the nonzero value of the gluon correlation length are emphasized.

Metabolic, Nutritional and Morphophysiological Behavior of Eucalypt Genotypes Differing in Dieback Resistance in Field When Submitted to PEG-Induced Water Deficit

open access: yesAgronomy, 2023
Dieback is a physiological disorder that has caused losses on eucalyptus plantations. Thinking that water stress is one of the triggers for the physiological disorder and aiming at the early identification of tolerant genotypes, we evaluated plantlets of

Inhibition of LCMR1 and ATG12 by demethylation-activated miR-570-3p is involved in the anti-metastasis effects of metformin on human osteosarcoma

open access: yesCell Death and Disease, 2018
Epidemiological studies have demonstrated that metformin could mitigate the progression of several tumors. Although it has been proved that metformin could cause demethylation of DNA and lead to up-regulation of some encoding genes and non-coding RNAs ...

Generalized Parton Distributions and Transversity in Nucleons and Nuclei [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys. A755 (2005) 565-570, 2005
We present an exploratory study using generalized parton distributions of several observables related to transverse degrees of freedom in hadronic structure -- the nucleon transverse momentum, the transverse radius, or impact parameter, and the momentum transfer, $t$, dependence of the longitudinal variable $x$ -- in both nucleons and nuclei.

In Vitro and In Vivo Antioxidant Activity of Agave sisalana Agro-Industrial Residue

open access: yesBiomolecules, 2020
Agave sisalana agro-industrial residue has considerable potential against damage associated with oxidative stress and skin aging. This study aims to demonstrate, in vitro and in vivo, the potential of Agave sisalana agro-industrial residue as a safe and ...

The high-velocity clouds and the Magellanic Clouds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
From an analysis of the sky and velocity distributions of the high-velocity clouds (HVCs) we show that the majority of the HVCs has a common origin. We conclude that the HVCs surround the Galaxy, forming a metacloud of 300 kpc in size and with a mass of ...

Ground ring for the 2D NSR string [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys.B377:541-570,1992, 1991
We discuss the BSRT quantization of 2D $N=1$ supergravity coupled to superconformal matter with $\hat{c} \leq 1$ in the conformal gauge. The physical states are computed as BRST cohomology. In particular, we consider the ring structure and associated symmetry algebra for the 2D superstring ($\hat{c} = 1$).

Re‐evaluation of fatty acids (E 570) as a food additive

open access: yesEFSA journal. European Food Safety Authority, 2017
The EFSA Panel on Food Additives and Nutrient Sources added to Food (ANS) provides a scientific opinion re‐evaluating the safety of fatty acids (E 570) when used as a food additive. The food additive includes caprylic‐ (C8), capric‐ (C10), lauric‐ (C12),

Electroweak corrections to top-quark pair production in quark--antiquark annihilation

open access: yes, 2005
Top-quark physics plays an important role at hadron colliders such as the Tevatron at Fermilab or the LHC at CERN. Given the planned precision at these colliders, precise theoretical predictions are required.
