Adsorption of Cr(VI) onto Activated Carbons Prepared from Indigenous Materials
The adsorption of chromium(VI) on activated carbons prepared from low cost materials has been studied by batch process. The influences of various parameters like contact time, dosage, pH, pHzpc and co-ions were experimentally verified.

A lysozyme is a 14.3 kDa protein consisting of 129 amino acids. The modification of these molecules leads to oligomers and dimers, but more and more attempts are being made to break down lysozyme monomers into smaller molecules.

Optical Modulation in the X-Ray Binary 4U 1543-624 Revisited
The X-ray binary 4U 1543$-$624 has been provisionally identified as an ultracompact system with an orbital period of $\simeq$18~min. We have carried out time-resolved optical imaging of the binary to verify the ultra-short orbital period.

Drug‐Free Thrombolysis Mediated by Physically Activated Micro/Nanoparticles
Overview of particle‐mediated thrombolytic effects (thermal, mechanical, and chemical) and their activating physical stimuli (light, ultrasound, and magnetic field) in drug‐free thrombolysis. ABSTRACT Thrombus‐associated disorders rank among the world's leading causes of death, with ischemic heart disease and stroke as the main contributors.
