99mTc ECD and 99mTc TRODAT-1 SPECT in Hashimoto Encephalopathy
Clinical Nuclear Medicine, 2012Hashimoto encephalopathy is characterized by cognitive impairment and other neurologic symptoms, including seizure, myoclonus, tremor, ataxia, parkinsonism, and psychiatric disorders. The presence of serum antithyroglobulin antibody and/or antimicrosomal antibody is always found, and the response to steroid treatment is usually promising.

99mTc Colloid and 99mTc IDA Imagings in Diffuse Hepatic Disease
Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology, 1993Ninety-six patients with various diffuse hepatic diseases were observed using both 99mTc colloid and 99mTc iminodiacetic acid (IDA), focusing on the potential etiologies of the disease process as well as its chronicity and severity. The presence of acute hepatic disease was more sensitively depicted with 99mTc IDA than with 99mTc colloid.

This report studies the binding rate of the radiopharmaceuticals 99mTc-DTPA, 99mTc-EDTA and 99mTc-DMSA to plasmatic proteins. The proteins bind to the tested radiopharmaceuticals in the following sequence: 99mTc-DTPA less than 99mTc-DMSA(C1) less than 99mTc-EDTA less than 99mTc-DMSA(C2) where C1 and C2 represent two different Tc-DMSA complexes.

The new 99mTc myocardial perfusion imaging agents: 99mTc-sestamibi and 99mTc-teboroxime.
Circulation, 1991The two new 99m (99mTc) labeled myocardial perfusion agents, 99mTc-Sestamibi and 99mTc-Teboroxime, are now available for routine clinical application. Both agents allow assessment of ejection fraction by the first-pass technique at rest or during exercise, thus providing additional information not available with thallium-201.

Transfer functions of 99mTc methylene diphosphonate (MDP), 99mTc 2,3-dicarboxypropane-l,l-diphosphonate (DPD) and 99mTc ethane-l-hydroxy-l,l-diphosphonate (EHDP) into bone and extravascular fluid of soft tissues were determined in 5 dogs by deconvolution analysis of the time-course of plasma, soft tissue and bone radioactivity. The transfer rates 5 min

We have investigated the clinical efficacy for the detection of bone metastases of two recently marketed bone-seeking radiopharmaceuticals, HDP and DPD, compared with traditionally used MDP. Twenty patients received 15 mCi 99mTc-MDP; after assessment ten of these patients later received 15 mCi 99mTc-DPD and ten other patients of this group were ...

Comparison of ‘classic’ 99mTc–DTPA, 99mTc(CO)3–DTPA and 99mTc(CO)2(NO)–DTPA
Tetrahedron, 2005Abstract Diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA) was labeled with 99mTc in three different ways, resulting in ‘classic’ 99mTc–DTPA, 99mTc(CO)3–DTPA and 99mTc(CO)2(NO)–DTPA. The biodistribution of the formed DTPA-complexes was studied in mice with a special emphasis on the behavior of the novel tricarbonyl and dicarbonyl-nitrosyl complexes, which ...

[Comparison of brain scintigraphy with 99mTc-pertechnate and 99mTc-citrate].
Nuklearmedizin. Nuclear medicine, 197820 patients with ultimately proven cerebral lesion were studied consecutively with 99mTc-pertechnetate and 99mTc-citrate. A comparison of the brain scans showed neoplastic lesions to be visualized more clearly with 99mTc-citrate, and vascular lesions to be demonstrated better with 99mTc-pertechnetate.

The aim of the study was to assess the efficacy of technetium 99m-methyl diphosphonate (Tc-MDP) and technetium 99m-methoxyisobutylisonitrile (Tc-MIBI) as radioaerosol alternatives to technetium 99m-diethylenetriaminepentacetate (Tc-DTPA) in the evaluation of pulmonary thromboembolism, as the direct consequence of the possible outcome could be cost ...

Studies were performed in vitro and in vivo to evaluate the binding properties and metabolism of [99mTc]Cl(CDO)3BMe (Teboroxime) and [99mTc]Cl(DMG)3B2MP in blood and target tissues of rats. Both radiopharmaceuticals displayed rapid binding (within 1-3 min) with high affinity to plasma proteins and blood cells.
