Should archaeologists care about 14C inter-comparisons? Why? A summary report on SIRI [PDF]
Radiocarbon (14C) dating is used widely in many projects as a basis for the creation and testing of chronological constructs. 14C measurements are by their nature complex and the degree of sample pretreatment varies considerably depending on the material.

Nonlocomotory Robotic Strategies for Dynamic Rotation Control in Terrestrial Robots: A Review
Terrestrial robots increasingly require rapid body rotation to maintain stability and agility in complex environments. This review shows nonlocomotory rotational control strategies that operate without ground contact, including reaction wheels, tails, bars, limbs, and thrusters.

Time is Not a River\u27 The Implications of Mumbo Jumbo\u27s Pendulum Chronology for Coalition Politics [PDF]
Ismael Reed\u27s 1972 novel, Mumbo Jumbo, proposes a unique chronological theory that requires a multiple-grounded understanding of time. An analysis of what could be called this pendulum chronology leads to a more complete understanding of the novel ...

This study generates high‐fidelity synthetic longitudinal records for a million‐patient diabetes cohort, successfully replicating clinical predictive performance. However, deeper analysis reveals algorithmic biases and trajectory inconsistencies that escape standard quality metrics. These findings challenge current validation norms, demonstrating why a

Abstract The Space–Time Computational Flow Analysis (STCFA) started in 1990 with the inception of the Deforming-Spatial-Domain/Stabilized Space–Time (DSD/SST) method. The DSD/SST was introduced as a moving-mesh method for flows with moving boundaries and interfaces, which is a wide class of problems that includes fluid–particle interactions ...

Promotion of DFU Wound Healing via BRG1–COL16A1 Axis in Fibroblasts
In normal wound healing, transcription factor BRG1 is upregulated and binds the COL16A1 promoter to enhance its expression, promoting fibroblast proliferation, migration, contraction, extracellular matrix deposition, and granulation tissue formation, thus accelerating wound closure.
