Iron Physiology and Its Impact on Atopic Diseases: An EAACI Taskforce Report
ABSTRACT Iron is essential for oxygen transport, energy metabolism, and immune regulation. Yet iron deficiency is the most common micronutrient disorder across all age groups, affecting nearly one quarter of the global population. Iron deficiency triggers nutritional immunity, a host defense mechanism that withholds and redistributes iron, contributing

We aimed to characterise Alternaria sensitisation trajectories from childhood to adulthood; we compared SPT, whole‐extract sIgE and rAlt a 1, and assessed their longitudinal association with asthma and rhinitis in the Isle of Wight birth cohort. Alternaria sensitisation in the Isle of Wight Birth Cohort emerges mainly in late adolescence and, when ...

Angiotensin II induces vascular inflammation, senescence, extracellular matrix (ECM) degradation and endothelial dysfunction, thus impairing SK+/IK+ channel function and reducing endothelial‐dependent hyperpolarisation (EDH). Metformin activates AMPK, increasing SK+/IK+ channel function and restoring vasorelaxation.

In tumor cells, MHC‐I is typically degraded through autophagy, leading to reduced antigen presentation. However, Fangji Huangqi Decoction (FJHQ), acting as an autophagy inhibitor, suppresses lysosomal acidification, which in turn inhibits the degradation of MHC‐I. This results in increased surface expression of MHC‐I on tumor cells.

A1 vs A2 Milk: Science, Myths, and What It Means for Your Health
Milk has always been a staple in Indian households. From childhood nutrition to daily tea rituals, it plays an essential role in our lives. Modulatory Effects of A1 Milk, A2 Milk, Soy, and Egg Proteins on Gut Microbiota and Fermentation
Milk can be divided into A1 and A2 types according to fi-casein variants, and there is a debate about whether A1 milk consumption exacerbates gut environments. This study examined the cecum microbiota and fermentation in mice fed A1 casein, A2 casein, mixed casein (commercial casein), soy protein isolate, and egg white.

The lncRNA CROCCP2 upregulates HOXD11 by competitively adsorbing miR‐5584‐5p, thereby promoting glioma cell proliferation, migration, and invasion by inhibiting autophagy. It significantly enhances tumor growth in vivo, suggesting it may be a potential therapeutic target for gliomas.
