ABSTRACT Background Cervicovaginal agenesis with functional uterine remnants is a rare Müllerian anomaly that may cause obstructed menstrual flow, pelvic pain, haematometra, haematosalpinx and endometriosis. Uterus‐preserving reconstruction is challenging because it requires both neovaginal creation and durable uterine drainage.

CT Versus Ultrasound in Young Women With Right Iliac Fossa Pain: A Single‐Centre Retrospective Study

In young women with right iliac fossa pain, CTs have a higher positive predictive value for appendicitis than ultrasounds. They also correlate better with raised inflammatory markers. CT could reduce the rate of unnecessary appendicectomies in young women in those without clear clinical signs and symptoms.

Tanner stages of thelarche in relation to anthropometric and ultrasound predictors in premenarcheal girls

We found a close correlation between thelarche and internal genital maturation on pelvic ultrasound, paralleling Tanner breast stages and supporting the concept of correlated external and internal pubertal development. Prenatal imaging phenotypes and outcomes of umbilical‐portal‐systemic venous shunts in singleton and twin pregnancies: A historical cohort study

This retrospective cohort compared umbilical‐portal‐systemic venous shunts in singleton and twin pregnancies. Type III was the most common subtype in singletons, whereas Type II was the most common in twins. Fetal growth restriction was more frequent in twins, but primary structural anomaly rates were similar.
