Structure Elucidation of a New Rearranged Abietane Diterpene from a Biologically Active Plant,

open access: yesNatural Product Communications, 2007
A new rearranged abietane diterpenoid, eriophoroxide ( 1 ), was obtained from the root extract of Salvia eriophora Boiss. and Kotschy ex Boiss. Its structure was elucidated by spectroscopic methods and semi-empirical/ ab-initio calculations. DNA damaging,

SmbZIP5 Integrates Abscisic and Jasmonic Acid Signalling to Positively Regulate Tanshinone Biosynthesis in Salvia miltiorrhiza

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 23, Issue 12, Page 5817-5832, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Salvia miltiorrhiza produces pharmacologically bioactive diterpenoid tanshinones which are regulated by jasmonate (JA) and abscisic acid (ABA) signalling, while their crosstalk in this process remains unclear. Here, we demonstrated that MeJA and ABA acted synergistically to enhance tanshinone biosynthesis.

Jolkinolide B Mitigates Cerebral Ischemia–Reperfusion Injury by Promoting Microglial M1/M2 Polarization Through the JAK2/STAT3 Signaling Pathway

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 31, Issue 11, November 2025.
Jolkinolide B improves ischemia–reperfusion injury by inhibiting the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway, regulating the polarization of microglia from the M1 to the M2 phenotype, and suppressing the release of pro‐inflammatory cytokines. ABSTRACT Background Microglia polarization and inflammatory response are closely related to cerebral ischemia–reperfusion ...
