Abstract Four abietane diterpenoids were isolated from the aerial parts of Salvia microstegia . Two, ferruginol and pisiferal, are known compounds. The other two, 10-acetylferruginol and 5,11,12-trihydroxy-abieta-8,11,13-triene, are new compounds.
