Non-Ablative and Ablative Devices in Acne Scars
2018This chapter reviews the various light sources, non-ablative and ablative lasers, and radiofrequency devices for acne scarring. Acne scars are polymorphous and require a multidimensional approach to successful treatments. Scars can be atrophic, hypertrophic, sharply marginated, incongruous, distensible and non-distensible.

An experiment was conducted with male college students in order to demonstrate the importance of cues in eliciting aggressive behaviour from angered persons. Most of the subjects were deliberately provoked by giving them an excessive number of electric shocks which supposedly were administered by a peer in a nearby room.
