International Journal of Mass Spectrometry, 2000Abstract Using both ab initio and semiempirical calculations, the temperature dependence of the thermochemical cycle relating gas phase enthalpies of acidity to electron affinities and bond dissociation energies is examined. Religious Studies, 2005The translation of Schleiermacher's key phrase ‘das schlechthinnige Abhängigkeitsgefühl’ is a matter of some contention. It has been suggested that the traditional translation (‘feeling of absolute dependence’) is in fact inaccurate and that it should be replaced with the accurate ‘absolute feeling of dependence’.
