In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Understanding the various evolutionary stages of the low-mass star-formation process by SO and SO2
SO and SO2 are two potential candidates to trace the different evolutionary phases of the low-mass star-formation process. Here, we report observations of SO and SO2 along with their isotopologues, 34SO and 34SO2, respectively, in four distinct phases of

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Selecting a Photometric System for Gaia: C, N, O and Alpha-Process Elements
The sensitivity of stellar spectra to C, N, O and α-process element abundances is discussed with the aim of taking this effect into account when selecting a photometric system for the Gaia orbiting observatory.

How Clumpy Star Formation Affects Globular Cluster Systems
There is now clear evidence the metallicities of globular clusters are not simple tracers of the elemental abundances in their protocluster clouds; some of the heavy elements were formed subsequently within the cluster itself. It is also manifestly clear

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Slowly Rotating Peculiar Star BD00°1659 as a Benchmark for Stratification Studies in Ap/Bp Stars
We present the results of a self-consistent analysis of the magnetic silicon star BD+00°1659, based on its high-resolution spectra taken from the ESPaDOnS archive (R = 68,000).

Measuring 14 elemental abundances with R=1,800 LAMOST spectra [PDF]
The LAMOST survey has acquired low-resolution spectra (R=1,800) for 5 million stars across the Milky Way, far more than any current stellar survey at a corresponding or higher spectral resolution.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These
