CeO2‐x/Pt single‐atom nano‐island is constructed via low‐temperature reduction, featuring abundant oxygen vacancies and an island–sea structure. It delivers outstanding multi‐enzyme‐mimetic activity and ROS‐scavenging efficiency. Density functional theory reveals optimized electronic structures and reaction pathways.

We developed the ASCAL pipeline, integrating complementary spatial transcriptomics, to construct a high‐fidelity mouse whole‐eye single‐cell atlas. Applying ASCAL to a retinal artery occlusion (RAO) model revealed spatially restricted immune activation localized to the ganglion cell layer and the selective depletion of a translationally active, outer ...

Lesion Site‐Targeted Microspheres Modulate Nav1.7‐Related Signaling for Osteoarthritis Treatment
Cartilage‐targeted carbamazepine‐loaded WYRGRL‐modified composite microspheres (CBZ/WCOM) anchor to exposed type II collagen in osteoarthritic lesions and release carbamazepine under acidic conditions. This bind‐then‐release platform modulates Nav1.7‐related sodium signaling, Na⁺/Ca²⁺ exchanger‐associated Ca2+ dynamics, and heat shock protein 70 ...

Social dominance in relation to other putative basic emotions in humans
Includes bibliographical references. There is a significant body of research within the general neurosciences that has begun to investigate a behavioural state in animals and humans, which appears to suggest the existence of a ‘social dominance instinct’.

Microplastics (MPs) breach the gut‐brain axis by triggering taurine‐depleting microbiota dysbiosis that accelerates Alzheimer‐like pathology in 5XFAD mice. Taurine supplementation normalizes autophagy, microglial quiescence, and cognition, and plasma taurine inversely tracks cognitive decline in ADNI participants, revealing a readily translatable ...

Abuse of dominance in the airport sector [PDF]
This paper investigates the efficacy of the Competition Law in dealing the abuse of dominance in the European airport sector. Starting with discussion of whether airports are natural monopolies or may face real competition, it is followed by an analysis of special features about the sector and a comparison between the policies of the European Union ...

A nano‐confined radical anion acts as a photothermal immunogenic amplifier. Kinetically stabilized nanoparticles couple high near‐infrared‐II (NIR‐II) photothermal efficacy with glutathione (GSH) depletion to boost reactive oxygen species (ROS) and immunogenic cell death (ICD).
