Acaricidal Activity of Methyl Palmitate to T. cinnabarinus

2009 3rd International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering, 2009
Methyl palmitate, a kind of fatty acid methyl ester, has been found in many plants. Many biological functions of methyl palmitate have been found. Recently we isolated the methyl palmitate from the green walnuts husks and found it has acaricidal activity that had not been reported before.

Acaricidal and insecticidal activities of three synthetic oxazolidinones

Pesticide Science, 1991
AbstractThe effects of three synthetic 2‐oxazolidinones were investigated on two arthropod pests: (1) Boophilus microplus (Canestrinii), the Southern cattle tick; and (2) Cylas formicarius elegantulus (Summer), a sweet potato weevil.

Synthesis of novel quinolinomatrine derivatives and their insecticidal/acaricidal activities

Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters, 2018
In continuation of our program to discover natural product-based pesticidal agents, a series of new quinolinomatrine derivatives were prepared. Especially three-dimensional structures of five compounds were unambiguously determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.

The Anti‐bacterial Activity of Acaricides in Relation to Streptothricosis

Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series B, 1989
SummaryThe anti‐bacterial activity of 13 commercially available acaricides, in use in the Caribbean, was tested against Dermatophilus congolensis, an actinomycete involved in streptothricosis of cattle, sheep and goats in the tropics. Acaricides used included organochloride, organophosphorus, carbamate, pyrethroid and amidine compounds.

Monitoring acaricide resistance and the frequency of associated target-site mutations in Tetranychus urticae populations from rose glasshouses in China.

Pest Management Science
BACKGROUND The two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae, is a serious pest of glasshouse roses. The rapid development of resistance to acaricides has severely impacted rose production. To investigate the resistance status of T.

Design, Synthesis, and 3D-QASR of Oxazoline Derivatives Containing an S-S Moiety as Potential Acaricide.

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry
To mitigate the detrimental effects of agricultural pest mites on crop yield, an active substructure splicing strategy was employed to modify etoxazole by introducing an S-S moiety.

Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) essential oil: an eco-friendly and fast-acting acaricide against the grain pest mite Aleuroglyphus ovatus

International Journal of Acarology
This study was designed to evaluate the acaricidal effect and the mode of action of lemongrass essential oil (LEO) against Aleuroglyphus ovatus. Contact and fumigant mortality indicated that LEO had higher acaricidal activities at a low concentration ...
