Ação do trifluralin na micorrização e crescimento de plantas de amendoim (Arachis hypogaea) Action of trifluralin on mycorrhization and growth of peanut (Arachis hypogaea) plants

open access: yesPlanta Daninha, 2010
O amendoim (Arachis hypogaea) é uma planta que durante as fases iniciais do seu desenvolvimento sofre mais intensamente a competição das plantas daninhas, prejudicando sensivelmente sua produção.

Influence of Cadmium and Arbuscular Mycorrhizae on Growth and Chlorophyll Content in Theobroma cacao and Theobroma grandiflorum Plants

open access: yesAdvances in Agriculture, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Inoculation of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) has important benefits, not only for plant growth but also for reducing Cd absorption in Theobroma plants. This study aimed to investigate the influence of cadmium (Cd) and arbuscular mycorrhizae (AM) on growth and chlorophyll content (CC) in Theobroma plants.

Symbiotic Effect of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi on Growth and Flowering of Micropropagated Plants of Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum dendranthemum)

open access: yesInternational Journal of Bio-Resource and Stress Management, 2023
Field mortality and poor growth of in vitro raised plantlets of chrysanthemum is a major hindrance for commercial propagation through tissue culture.

Warming benefits to sheep fescue are negated by nearby plants and moss–lichen layers facilitate mycorrhizae in a tundra

open access: yesEcosphere, Volume 16, Issue 11, November 2025.
Abstract In systems where low temperatures limit plant productivity, facilitative effects of surrounding vegetation on juvenile plants may outweigh effects of competition for resources. This facilitation could occur through temperature buffering but also via increased availability of root mutualists such as mycorrhizal fungi.

Influence of inoculation with Glomus mosseae or Acaulospora morrowiae on arsenic uptake and translocation by maize [PDF]

open access: yesPlant and Soil, 2008
A split root device was designed to assess the possible role of AMF in translocation and detoxification of As by maize plants. Half of each maize root system grew in As-amended or unamended soil and the remainder was inoculated with either Glomus mosseae or Acaulospora morrowiae. External mycelium was collected from a third compartment.

Emerging Role of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi in Sustainable Agriculture: From Biology to Field Application

open access: yesMicrobiologyOpen, Volume 14, Issue 5, October 2025.
Explore the molecular mechanism of AMF and Plant symbiosis. Briefly discussed the AMF mediated biotic and abiotic stress management. The review explores the latest production strategies and application challenges of AMF. Discuss how the commercial success of AMF inoculants depends upon several factors ABSTRACT In recent years, increasing consumer ...

Phosphorus Availability Affecting the Diversity of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) in the Artisanal Gold Mining Area

open access: yesJurnal Manajemen Hutan Tropika
Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) diversity is influenced by biotic and abiotic factors. Several studies have shown the presence of AMF in ex-gold mining areas with low soil fertility and heavy metal accumulation.

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi inoculation inhibits plant Zn toxicity and promotes Zn biofortification for lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.)

open access: yesSoil Science Society of America Journal, Volume 89, Issue 4, July/August 2025.
Abstract Insufficient dietary intake of zinc (Zn) is a significant public health concern globally, as it is closely linked to impaired immune function and pregnancy complications. Addressing this issue may include strategies such as agronomic biofortification of globally important vegetables.
