Performance of Acclimatized Mice at Altitude
SummaryMice acclimatized to one altitude (350 mm Hg) showed an increase in performance when exposed to a higher altitude (247 mm Hg) as compared with ground level controls. When acclimatized mice are bled they showed a decrease in their performance level.

This study identifies alnustone, a natural compound from Alpinia katsumadai, as a potent therapeutic agent for MASLD and MASH. Alnustone enhances mitochondrial fatty acid β‐oxidation by directly targeting calmodulin, improving liver steatosis, fibrosis, and insulin resistance in vivo.

Metabolite Modulation in Human Plasma in the Early Phase of Acclimatization to Hypobaric Hypoxia
The exposure of healthy subjects to high altitude represents a model to explore the pathophysiology of diseases related to tissue hypoxia. We explored a plasma metabolomics approach to detect alterations induced by the exposure of subjects to high ...

The LDH‐H3K18La‐Nur77 Axis Potentiates Immune Escape in Small Cell Lung Cancer
Lactate from SCLC tumors induces H3K18 lactylation in naïve CD8+ T cells, upregulating Nurr77 and enhancing tonic TCR signaling. This leads to T cell hyporesponsiveness to stimulation, impairing antitumor immunity and reducing immunotherapy efficacy.

Mesophotic coral depth acclimatization is a function of host-specific symbiont physiology
Mesophotic coral ecosystems receive increasing attention owing to their potential as deep coral refuges in times of global environmental change. Here, the mechanisms of coral holobiont photoacclimatization over a 60 m depth gradient in the central Red ...

Listerin Alleviates Alzheimer's Disease through IRE1‐mediated Decay of TLR4 mRNA
Alzheimer's disease (AD) progression is influenced by microglia‐mediated neuroinflammation. Here, it is demonstrated that Listerin suppresses neuroinflammatory signaling and cognitive impairment in AD models by triggering IRE1α‐mediated TLR4 mRNA decay. Adenoviral Listerin delivery reduces amyloid‐β pathology, positioning it as a new therapeutic target.
