N-(4-Isopropoxyphenyl)acetamide [PDF]
In the mol-ecule of the title compound, C(11)H(15)NO(2), the planar acetamide unit [maximum deviation of 0.0014 (6) Å] is oriented at a dihedral angle of 19.68 (4)° with respect to the aromatic ring. An intra-molecular C-H⋯O inter-action results in the formation of a six-membered ring. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link

This study explores enzyme‐responsive nanoparticles for targeted antimicrobial release in inflamed oral environments. Nanoparticles formed by complexing peptides and chlorhexidine respond to human leukocyte elastase and release chlorhexidine selectively. P7 (ECAAPVCE)‐based formulations show optimal properties and stability, with antimicrobial activity

Eschenmoser coupling reactions starting from primary thioamides. When do they work and when not?
Reactions of thiobenzamide or thioacetamide with 4-bromo-1,1-dimethyl-1,4-dihydroisoquinoline-3(2H)-one, 4-bromoisoquinoline-1,3(2H,4H)-dione and two α-bromo(phenyl)acetamides were examined under various conditions (base, solvent, thiophile, temperature)

Intramolecular Carbene C-H Insertion Reactions of 2-Diazo-2-sulfamoylacetamides
The intramolecular C-H insertions of carbenes derived from 2-diazo-2-sulfamoylacetamides were studied. 2-Diazo-2-sulfamoylacetamides were first prepared from chloroacetyl chloride and secondary amines through acylation followed by sequential treatments ...

Nitrotriazole-based acetamides and propanamides with broad spectrum antitrypanosomal activity. [PDF]
3-Nitro-1H-1,2,4-triazole-based acetamides bearing a biphenyl- or a phenoxyphenyl moiety have shown remarkable antichagasic activity both in vitro and in an acute murine model, as well as substantial in vitro antileishmanial activity but lacked activity ...

Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of Some Novel Substituted Piperazinyl-quinazolin-3(4H)-ones
Several substituted-quinazolin-3(4H)-ones were synthesized by condensation of 2-chloro-N-(4-oxo-substituted-quinazolin-3(4H)-yl)-acetamides with various substituted piperazines through single step reaction. Elemental analysis, IR, 1HNMR and mass spectral

2-(4-Iodophenoxy)acetamide [PDF]
The mol-ecule of the title compound, C(8)H(8)INO(2), amide-typical resonance shortens the nominal C-N single bond to 1.322 (7) Å. In the crystal, hydrogen bonds involving both nitro-gen-bound H atoms as well as C-H⋯O contacts connect the mol-ecules into double layers approximately perpendicular to the crystallographic b axis.
