Perinatal pharmacokinetics of acetylsalicylic acid
Archives of Gynecology, 1982Pregnant women were treated with infusions of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA). The plasma concentrations of total salicylate or those of ASA and salicylic acid (SA) were determined. The ASA steady state was reached after 2 h of infusion whereas 3 days seemed necessary to reach the steady state of SA.

In the village of Vandalia, Mich., 5 miles from Cassopolis, is a man who has been a chronic invalid suffering from arthritis deformans for more than twenty years. For seventeen years he has been confined to the use of a wheel chair.
