Biomorphometry and growth rate of the sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus) in the Czech Republic

open access: yes, 2003
Two samples of 40 and 30 juvenile specimens of the sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus Linnaeus, 1758) reared in special aquacultural facilities in the Czech Republic (and originating from Russia), and in the Slovak Republic (originating in the Danube Slovak ...

Nalaz kečige (acipenser ruthenus) u rijeci Savi kod Zagreba [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015

Fluorescent in situ hybridization with rDNA probes on chromosomes of Acipenser ruthenus and Acipenser naccarii (Osteichthyes Acipenseriformes)

open access: yes, 1999
The genes for 28S and 5S rDNA were physically mapped on the chromosomes of two sturgeon species, the sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus, 2n = 118 ± 4) and the Adriatic sturgeon (Acipenser naccarii, 2n = 248 ± 4) by fluorescent in situ hybridization.

OBSERVATIONS REGARDING THE EMBRYONARY AND LARVAL DEVELOPMENT OF STERLET (ACIPENSER RUTHENUS)

open access: yesScientific Papers Animal Science and Biotechnologies, 2023
Studying and presenting the embryo stages of sterlet has the main purpose of widening the knowledge horizon in this direction. Although all sterlet embryos originated from one female and from the same incubator (15°C, 9.6 mg/l of dissolved oxygen and a water flow of 2.7 l/min), they are in different stages of development at a certain time.
