Age and growth rate of Black Sea starry sturgeon (Acipenser stellatus, Pallas 1771) were studied based on analysis of pectoral fin spine sections internal structure. Time of annual growth marks formation was determined. Parameters of von Bertalanffy growth equation were estimated.
