Assessing the Accuracy of Large Language Models on European Guidelines for Cervical Cancer: An In Silico Benchmarking Study
BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objective
Although large language models are increasingly used in clinical and research settings, the validity of the information they provide remains uncertain. This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of three large language models—ChatGPT 4.0, DeepSeek R1, and Gemini 2.0—in answering cervical cancer‐related ...Matteo Pavone, Chiara Innocenzi, Nicola Macellari, Chiara Cantarini, Massimo Criscione, Andrea Rosati, Lise Lecointre, Antonella Carcagnì, Barbara Costantini, Jacques Marescaux, Anna Fagotti, Francesco Fanfani, David Cibula, Denis Querleu, Nicolò Bizzarri +14 morewiley +1 more sourceManaging Skin Side Effects Associated With Oncology Treatments: Asian Perspective on Use of Dermocosmetics
Asia-Pacific Journal of Clinical Oncology, EarlyView.Skin adverse events (AEs) frequently accompany all types of anticancer treatments. This publication discusses how recent international guidance on best‐practices use of dermocosmetics can be adapted to the North Asia region (China, Hong Kong, Japan, Republic of Korea, and Taiwan).Meng Pan, Jianguo Sun, Makoto Kawashima, You Chan Kim, Mison Chun, Chia‐Yu Chu, Yi‐Hsin Liang, Mee Chang, Delphine Kerob, Brigitte Dreno +9 morewiley +1 more sourceThe Nasal Microbiome and Associations With Environmental Exposures and Respiratory Health
Allergy, EarlyView. This study evaluates the association of the nasal microbiome with air pollutants, meteorological conditions, and respiratory health in adolescents. Bacterial diversity is positively associated with hay fever and short‐term NO2 exposure, and negatively with temperature. A Moraxella‐dominated nasotype is linked to lower O3 exposure and higher temperature Javier Perez‐Garcia, Anne K. Bozack, Sheryl L. Allergy, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
Wildfire smoke is a major environmental health threat that has increased in frequency and severity in recent years. A hazardous component of wildfire smoke is particulate matter ≤ 2.5 μm (PM2.5). There is evidence to suggest that exposure to wildfire PM2.5 may increase the risk of developing or exacerbating atopic diseases, such as asthma ...Alex Ha, John R. Balmes, Maria L. Allergy, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
Hereditary angioedema (HAE) with C1 inhibitor deficiency is a rare disease characterized by unpredictable episodes of tissue swelling (angioedema), which, in most cases, occur first under the age of 18 years, and entail a significant burden of disease not only for the patients but also for their families.Henriette Farkas, Inmaculada Martinez‐Saguer, Konrad Bork, Anastasios E. Allergy, EarlyView.Integrating skin barrier measurements with omics and machine learning, we found that postbiotics and NAM regulate skin homeostasis through distinct, strain‐ and dose‐dependent mechanisms. Postbiotics primarily modulate skin barrier function by promoting keratinocyte differentiation and suppressing inflammation.Yagiz Pat, Duygu Yazici, Huseyn Babayev, Sena Ardicli, Xiangting Bu, Sheri Simmons, Anthony Almada, Christine Avena, Tye Jensen, Raja Dhir, Patrick Westermann, Asuncion Garcia‐Sanchez, Manru Li, Ozge Ardicli, Can Zeyneloglu, Marco Pane, Angela Amoruso, Christoph Messner, Ismail Ogulur, Yasutaka Mitamura, Mubeccel Akdis, Cezmi A.
