Vacuum‐deposited films of the plant‐derived molecule, Baicalein, form a self‐assembled bioelectret exhibiting spontaneous orientation polarization and a giant surface potential. The films induce alternating current during the vibration of a movable electrode without charging treatments. Hydrocarbon protection enhances the air stability of the Baicalein

Phonon confinement and size effect in Raman spectra of ZnO nanoparticles
We study Raman spectra of ZnO nanoparticles of 5–12 nm size in the whole range of the first-order phonon bands. We apply the 3D phonon confinement model (PCM) for the interpretation of the observed Raman spectra.

Optical Signature of Moiré Superlattices Formed by Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes
We discover optical signatures from bonded interfaces in twisted SrTiO3 moiré superlattices, including low‐frequency Raman vibrational modes and strong second‐harmonic generation, consistent with strong interlayer coupling inferred from cross‐sectional electron microscopy and ab initio calculations. On the robustness of acoustic black hole spectra
We study the robustness of the spectrum emitted by an acoustic black hole by considering series of stationary flows that become either subsonic or supersonic, i.e. when the horizon disappears. We work with the superluminal Bogoliubov dispersion of Bose--Einstein condensates.
