Enhanced Intracellular Stability and Translation Efficiency of mRNA Drugs by a 2‐arm mRNA Platform

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We constructed a 2‐arm mRNA, characterized by a unique topology formed through the dimerization of two mRNA 3’ tails. The 2‐arm mRNA improves 3’ tail stability and resistance to nuclease degradation, resulting in an intracellular half‐life of up to 65 h. This method substantially enhances the translation capacity of mRNA drugs.

Alcohol Consumption Is a Risk Factor of Surgical Site Infection After Minimally Invasive Surgery: A Secondary Observational Analysis of a Clinical Trial

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
Alcohol consumption was independently associated with Surgical Site Infection in the gastroenterological Minimally Invasive Surgery. Whether preoperative abstinence from alcohol prevents the occurrence of SSI warrants further investigation. ABSTRACT Background Surgical site infection (SSI) is one of the postoperative complications. Risk factors for SSI

Study of Basic Coagulation Parameters among HIV Patients in Correlation to CD4 Counts and Art Status [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, 2016
Introduction: HIV infection is known to cause coagulation abnormalities by various mechanism, especially during its late course. Aim: The objective of this study is to analyse platelet count, prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time

Leptin May Promote Eosinophilic CRSwNP Progression by Enhancing Eosinophil Chemotaxis and Angiogenesis Under a Type 2 Inflammatory Milieu

open access: yesInternational Forum of Allergy &Rhinology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyp (CRSwNP) is a heterogeneous Type 2 inflammatory disease characterized by enhanced eosinophilic infiltration. Both innate and adaptive immunity are involved in the onset and progression of CRSwNP.

The changes in the fibrinogen concentration and coagulation pathways in winter and summer in cattle [PDF]

open access: yesĀsīb/shināsī-i Darmāngāhī-i Dāmpizishkī, 2013
Fibrinogen is an important coagulation factor and a positive acute phase protein and its levels increases in cases of inflammation infection and stress. The present research was done to determine whether the fibrinogen concentration, prothrombin time (PT)

Payload‐Based Clinical Pharmacology Review of Approved Antibody–Drug Conjugates: Commonalities and Considerations for Streamlined Development

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, EarlyView.
Antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) combine the specificity of an antibody with the potency of a cytotoxic drug. Thirteen ADCs, utilizing seven unique cytotoxic payloads and targeting 11 distinct antigens, are currently approved by the US Food and Drug Administration as of June 2025, representing a rapidly growing and highly promising class of anticancer ...
