Active disturbance rejection control: Methodology and theoretical analysis
ISA Transactions, 2014The methodology of ADRC and the progress of its theoretical analysis are reviewed in the paper. Several breakthroughs for control of nonlinear uncertain systems, made possible by ADRC, are discussed. The key in employing ADRC, which is to accurately determine the "total disturbance" that affects the output of the system, is illuminated.

Improved Grey Wolf Optimizer Tuned Active Disturbance Rejection Control for Ship Heading
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems - II - Express Briefs, 2023The ship heading control is very important to the shipping industry. The Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) method is ideal for ship heading control, but it is highly correlated with parameters. In this brief, we employed the chaotic mapping and

Active disturbance rejection controller for space teleoperation
International Conference on Automatic Control and Artificial Intelligence (ACAI 2012), 2012As space teleoperation becomes a new hotspot in space exploration, interesting control challenges including large variant timedelay, model error and unpredicted disturbances are presented. Though good results have been received using linear error feedback controller such as PID algorithm, limited robustness and tracking performance are still big ...

Decentralized Active Disturbance Rejection Control for Hybrid Energy Storage System in DC Microgrid
IEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print)Nowadays, hybrid energy storage system (HESS) is a popular option to compensate for renewable energy fluctuations in the microgrid. The main advantages of HESS are that it can eliminate bus voltage fluctuations and maximize the strength of multifarious ...

Active Disturbance Rejection Control of Chemical Processes
2007 IEEE 22nd International Symposium on Intelligent Control, 2007In this paper a novel control strategy, the active disturbance rejection control (ADRC), is applied to the representative process control problems. In the ADRC framework, the disturbance and unmeasured dynamics associated with chemical processes are treated as an additional state variable, which is then estimated and compensated for in real time.

SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, 2014
In this paper, an algorithm is developed to reject time and spatially varying boundary disturbances from a multidimensional Kirchhoff plate via boundary control. The disturbance and control input are assumed to be matched. The active disturbance rejection control approach is adopted for developing the algorithm.
