A parameter formula connecting PID and ADRC [PDF]
This paper presents a parameter formula connecting the well-known proportional-integralderivative (PID) control and the active disturbance rejection control (ADRC). On the one hand, this formula gives a quantitative lower bound to the bandwidth of the extended state observer (ESO) used in ADRC, implying that the ESO is not necessarily of high gain.

ADRC in output and error form: connection, equivalence, performance
In this work, we investigate two specific linear ADRC structures, namely output- and error-based. The former is considered a 'standard' version of ADRC, a title obtained primarily thanks to its simplicity and effectiveness, which have spurred its adoption across multiple industries. The latter is found to be especially appealing to practitioners as its

UAV trajectory tracking based on ADRC control algorithm [PDF]
UAV flying in the air is affected by external airflow factors, and the system has the characteristics of underdrive, nonlinear and uncertainty, which makes the flight state of the UAV become complicated. The trajectory tracking of UAV is studied by using

Active disturbance rejection control-based anti-coupling method for conical magnetic bearings
Conical-shape magnetic bearings are currently a potential candidate for various magnetic force-supported applications due to their unique geometric nature reducing the number of required active magnets.

Tuning and implementation variants of discrete-time ADRC
Practical implementations of active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) will almost always take place in discretized form. Since applications may have quite different needs regarding their discrete-time controllers, this article summarizes and extends the available set of ADRC implementations to provide a suitable variant for as many as possible use ...

End of Life Care in Scotland: Trends in the Population in Need of Palliative Care
Background Estimation of population-wide palliative care needs is crucial for end-of-life care planning, and literature around it has grown in the last years. However, no estimates have yet been published for Scotland.

Highly Sensitive, Stretchable Pressure Sensor Using Blue Laser Annealed CNTs
A piezoresistive sensor is an essential component of wearable electronics that can detect resistance changes when pressure is applied. In general, microstructures of sensing layers have been adopted as an effective approach to enhance piezoresistive ...
