Adaptive Control of Active Magnetic Bearing against Milling Dynamics
For improving the defects in milling processes caused by traditional spindle bearings, e.g., the dimensional discrepancy of a finished workpiece due to bearing wear or oil pollution by lubricant, a novel embedded cylindrical-array magnetic actuator ...

The Influence of Magnetic Field of AMB on Eddy-Current Sensor Operation
This paper presents laboratory results on the influence of the magnetic field of an active magnetic bearing (AMB) on the eddy-current sensor operation. The magnetic suspension technology enables continuous diagnostics and monitoring of a rotary machine ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Control of Active Magnetic Bearings
Abstract This article presents a model of rigid rotor supported by active magnetic bearings (AMB). Mathematical formulation of magnetic forces generated by AMB has been developed. Equations of motion of rigid rotor supported by controllable AMB with and without control law are presented.

Deterministic Models of an Active Magnetic Bearing System
In this paper the development of mathematical model of voltage-input and current-input active magnetic bearing (AMB) system in deterministic form is presented. The AMB system, which is open-loop unstable and highly coupled due to nonlinearities inherited in the system such as gyroscopic effect and mass imbalance, requires a dynamic controller that can ...

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Vibration Modal Analysis of the Active Magnetic Bearing System
Based on the principle of axial active magnetic bearing rotor-system with single degree of freedom, magnetic rotor-system vibration mode was described. A 3D finite element model of active magnetic bearing rotor-system was established by ANSYS11.

Detecting circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in blood before surgery may help predict outcomes in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Here, we show when combined with tumor size and lymph node involvement from routine imaging, CTC status identifies high‐risk patients with poorer survival—offering a simple, minimally invasive tool ...
