Febrile neutrophilic dermatosis in acute myelogenous leukemia
Cancer, 1976Three patients with acute myelogenous leukemia and adequate granulocyte reserves developed fever and painful indurated erythematous plaques on their extremities and faces. The plaques became studded with vesicles or bullae and occasionally became necrotic.

Acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis.
American family physician, 1989Acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis, or Sweet's syndrome, usually occurs in middle-aged women with a preceding upper respiratory tract infection. Acute Febrile Neutrophilic Dermatosis (Sweet's Syndrome)
Archives of Dermatology, 1971A second case of Sweet's syndrome occurred in a male; it is the 20th to appear in the literature. Tender, red plaques in centrifugal distribution appeared in association with fever, leukocytosis, and an elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate. The process represents an inflammatory vascular reaction pattern of unknown etiology with pathologic changes ...

FURTHER OBSERVATIONS ON ACUTE FEBRILE NEUTROPHILIC DERMATOSIS
British Journal of Dermatology, 1968SUMMARY.— Some points of interest are discussed from studies of 4 more cases of acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis, including the histology of a very early lesion. The belated recognition of similar microscopical appearances in a striking, localized lesion on a lady's face led to her successful treatment.

Acute Febrile Neutrophilic Dermatosis (Sweet's Syndrome)
Archives of Dermatology, 1984A 33-year-old woman had many tender, erythematous and pustular plaques on her face, neck, and extremities. Biopsy findings were consistent with a diagnosis of Sweet's syndrome. A chemotaxis test disclosed increased chemotactic activity of the peripheral blood polymorphonuclear neutrophil leukocytes. The patient was successfully treated with dapsone. To

Acute Febrile Neutrophilic Dermatosis (Sweet's Syndrome)
Archives of Dermatology, 1989• A 58-year-old woman suffering from rheumatoid arthritis complicated by a leukocytoclastic vasculitis had an acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis (Sweet's syndrome) develop immediately after worsening of her arthritic condition. This association supports the hypothesis that immunologic abnormality is involved in the pathogenesis of Sweet's syndrome ...

Sweet's Syndrome (Acute Febrile Neutrophilic Dermatosis)
Archives of Dermatology, 1971The second male patient with classical Sweet's syndrome (acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis) is reported and the 17 previously published cases are reviewed. All of the present patient's signs and symptoms were dramatically controlled with orally administered prednisone, but temporarily recurred when treatment was discontinued prematurely.

[Acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis - Sweet's syndrome].
Acta reumatologica portuguesa, 2009In Rheumatology there are several diseases that frequently develop cutaneous manifestations creating diagnostic difficulties. The Sweet's syndrome appears as archetype of the neutrophilic dermatosis, which is a group of not infectious illnesses, characterized for a dermic neutrophilic and angiocentric infiltrated. The four main features that define this
