Heparan sulfate is a plasma biomarker of acute cellular allograft rejection.
Despite advances in management of immunosuppression, graft rejection remains a significant clinical problem in solid organ transplantation. Non-invasive biomarkers of graft rejection can facilitate earlier diagnosis and treatment of acute rejection.

Diagnosi e trattamento del rigetto acuto cellulo-mediato nel trapianto di rene
The incidence of acute rejection of the kidney allograft in the world has been around 15% during the period between 2001 and 2003. It is clinically defined as an elevation in the level of serum creatinine by more than 0.3 mg/dL and is diagnosed by kidney

The impact of early acute rejection on kidney graft survival after repeat kidney transplantation
Introduction. Despite the improvements in immunosuppressive therapy, the growing number of repeat kidney transplantations and associated risks of acute rejection make it relevant to assess the impact of early acute rejection on a long-term kidney graft ...

Acute rejection is a major risk factor for chronic allograft injury (CAI). Blood leukocytes interacting with allograft endothelial cells during acute rejection were suggested to contribute to the still enigmatic pathogenesis of CAI.

Levels of serum- and urinary-neopterin and serum-IL-6 and IL-6R of kidney transplant recipients "Were higher in acute rejection episode than in stable condition. IL-8 serum levels had risen prior to clinical diagnosis of acute rejection episode.

THE DIAGNOSIS OF LIVER ALLOGRAFT ACUTE REJECTION IN LIVER BIOPSIES
We performed histological examination of 80 liver allograft biopsies, the diagnosis of acute rejection was proved in 34 cases. Histological changes in liver biopsies in different grades of acute rejection were estimated according to Banff classification ...

The Biology of Acute Transplant Rejection
An intriguing and increasingly understood facet of immune responses is the ability of a recipient to destroy a foreign tissue or organ graft. The phenomenon of acute rejection of an allograft involves a series of complex and inter-related cellular and humoral events, culminating in graft death.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Incidence, Risk Factors, and Treatment Outcome of Acute Renal Allograft Rejection
Background: Acute rejection occurs at any time following renal transplantation. The study aims to find the incidence, risk factors, and outcome of acute rejection in kidney transplantation. Materials and Methods: Retrospective cohort study conducted from
