Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome Associated with Tumour Lysis Syndrome in Leukemia

Acute tumour lysis syndrome (ATLS) developed in two patients with acute myelogenous leukemia soon after they were treated with cytosine arabinoside. The patients also developed respiratory distress requiring intubation.
