Upon inhalation, RM@TNT could persist long‐term in the diseased lungs, while undergoing disintegration to release TNT specifically within the ROS‐rich pathological microenvironments of SA‐ARDS. The released TNT was then precisely delivered to AMs via Tuftsin, where it released Nob intracellularly to activate BMAL1 expression, thus inhibiting AM ...

[The treatment of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections].
Acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) and influenza take a leading place in the structure of the general morbidity of the population in most countries of the world. Of etiotropic treatment of influenza and other ARVI include a wide spectrum of antiviral drugs, among which are the drugs with a restricted spectrum, basically used in influenza, and a ...

Under colitis, Gsdmd mediates the release of IL‐33 from the epithelium of pregnant mice. IL‐33 can cross the placenta and enhance the proliferative capacity of neural stem cells, ultimately resulting in behavioral deficits in the offspring. Excessive pyroptosis in the colonic epithelium also triggers the translocation of LPS, which in turn increases ...

A mitochondria‐targeted copper depletion nanoplatform (CYN‐CDA@Alb) was developed to selectively disrupt tumor mitochondria copper, which then reprogrammed the tumor immune microenvironment by depressing PD‐L1 and CD47 expression simultaneously. By doing this, CYN‐CDA@Alb reversed radiotherapy‐induced immune tolerance, showing the potential usage of ...

Symptomatic treatment of acute respiratory viral infections
The most common causes of respiratory diseases are acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). According to the World Health Organization, every adult suffers from ARVI twice a year, while an average child gets sick 3 times more often. Each year in Russia, temporary disability of the adult population as a result of ARVI equalss 25-30% of the total ...

ABSTRACT Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains a significant clinical challenge due to the limited efficacy of conventional treatments like surgery, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and transarterial embolization (TAE). Here, we develop an innovative TAE and immunothermal therapy strategy based on smartly assembled near‐micron layered double hydroxide ...

Palmitic Acid Promotes Antiviral Innate Immunity via ZDHHC20‐Mediated CMPK2 Palmitoylation
Metabolites have important functions in innate immune activation and regulation. Wang et al. uncover metabolic regulation of antiviral immunity through CMPK2 palmitoylation, which regulates CMPK2 mitochondrial localization and is promoted by ZDHHC20 but reversed by PPT1, inhibition of which antagonizes viral infection in mice.
