Acyl Coenzyme A:1-Acylglycerophosphorylglycerol Acyltransferase from Rat Liver
Abstract Rat liver microsomes are capable of catalyzing the acylation of 1-palmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoryl-rac-glycerol for phosphatidylglycerol formation. The requirements for the reaction appear to be the same as the analogous reaction for lecithin synthesis.

Lipidomic and proteomic analysis revealed large‐scale differences in the midgut composition of the honeybee Apis mellifera and the buff‐tailed bumblebee Bombus terrestris. These differences correlated to increased insecticide absorption in the bumblebee when using an ex vivo Ussing chamber and subsequently in vivo feeding assay (created in Biorender ...

Two model strains of Synechococcus sp.—the marine RS9907 and the euryhaline WH5701—exhibit distinct physiological responses to salinity after long acclimations at optimal and cold growth temperatures. Transcriptomic and photochemical analyses reveal drastic differences in their regulatory strategies and photosynthetic activity across a salinity ...

Deciphering the Transcriptomic Signatures of Aging Across Organs in Mice
Comprehensive transcriptomic profiling of eight mouse organs across six ages reveals how aging reshapes biological processes. Trajectory and network analyses distinguish shared and organ‐specific signatures, charting the molecular landscape of systemic aging.

TMEM120A maintains adipose tissue lipid homeostasis through ER CoA channeling
Efficient fatty acid (FA) re-esterification is essential for lipid homeostasis in adipocytes, yet the mechanisms coordinating Coenzyme A (CoA) availability at the endoplasmic reticulum (ER)—a major site of lipid synthesis—remain unclear.

Lifespan‐Extending Endogenous Metabolites
Endogenous metabolites act as mediators of longevity by modulating conserved cellular pathways. We summarize mechanistic evidence linking specific metabolites to lifespan and healthspan benefits across model systems, with discussion of clinical evidence, translational opportunities, and remaining knowledge gaps.
