High quality speed information is one of the key issues in machine sensorless drives, which often requires proper filtering of the estimated speed. This paper comparatively studies typical low-pass filters (LPF) and phase-locked loop (PLL) type filters ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Locally-adaptive Myriad Filters for Processing ECG Signals in Real Time [PDF]
The locally adaptive myriad filters to suppress noise in electrocardiographic (ECG) signals in almost in real time are proposed. Statistical estimates of efficiency according to integral values of such criteria as mean square error (MSE) and signal-to ...

The random finite set (RFS) approach for multi-target tracking is widely researched because it has a rigorous theoretical basis. However, many prior parameters such as the clutter density, survival probability and detection probability of the target ...

Learning algorithms for adaptive digital filtering [PDF]
In this thesis, we consider the problem of parameter optimisation in adaptive digital filtering. Adaptive digital filtering can be accomplished using both Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters and Infinite Impulse Response Filters (IIR) filters. Adaptive

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Efficient Subband Adaptive Filtering with Oversampled GDFT Filter Banks
This paper addresses the numerical efficiency of adaptive filtering implemented in subbands. Our approach first focuses on oversampled GDFT filter banks and their potential benefits over other possible subband decompositions.

Performance Limitations of Subband Adaptive Filters [PDF]
In this paper, we evaluate the performance limitations of subband adaptive filters in terms of achievable final error terms. The limiting factors are the aliasing level in the subbands, which poses a distortion and thus presents a lower bound for the ...

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Subband Adaptive Equaliser Tracking for Fractionally-Sampled Fading Broadband MIMO Channels [PDF]
This paper demonstrates the performance of a subband adaptive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) equaliser tracking the inverse of a Doppler-filtered Rayleigh-fading broadband channel. The subband adaptive equaliser is shown to outperform the fullband
