Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Experimental Demonstration of Sequential Operation Approach for a Three-Sided Pyramid Wavefront Sensor

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2016
We describe a sequential operation approach for a three-sided pyramid wavefront sensor (PWFS) based on a micromirror array with hexagonal geometry. The geometrical optics analysis and numerical simulations show that a linear relationship exists between ...

Coherent Adaptive Optical System

open access: yesConference on Lasers and Electro-Optics, 2017
An adaptive optical system in which coherent images are processed to determine wavefront error and the error is corrected by applying the inverse to a deformable mirror is discussed.

Micro-Deformable Mirror: a low cost technology for cryogenic active and adaptive optics [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
Electrostatically operated bi-directional deflecting silicon membranes can be created using bulk micromachining techniques. The 19-channel Micro-Deformable Mirror, potential candidate for space Active and Adaptive Optics, was built by OKO Technologies ...

MAORY: adaptive optics module for the E-ELT [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
MAORY is one of the four instruments for the E-ELT approved for construction. It is an adaptive optics module offering two compensation modes: multi-conjugate and single-conjugate adaptive optics. The project has recently entered its phase B.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Real-time real-sky dual-conjugate adaptive optics experiment

open access: yes, 2006
The current status of a real-time real-sky dual-conjugate adaptive optics experiment is presented. This experiment is a follow-up on a lab experiment at Lund Observatory that demonstrated dual-conjugate adaptive optics on a static atmosphere.
