Precision timing measurement of phototube pulses using a flash analog-to-digital converter

open access: yes, 2010
We present the timing characteristics of the flash ADC readout of the GlueX forward calorimeter, which depends on precise measurement of arrival time of pulses from FEU 84-3 photomultiplier tubes to suppress backgrounds.

Chemically Doped Conductive Polymers for Wearable Health Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Among conductive polymers, poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS), polyaniline (PANI), and polypyrrole (PPy) are the most studied and applied. Chemical doping significantly boosts intrinsic conductivity and mechanical robustness.

Intramolecular FRET Cascades Enable Small Efficiency Roll‐Off in Solution‐Processed OLEDs

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
This work highlights how an intramolecular FRET design strategy in solution‐processable MR‐TADF emitters enables narrowband emission, high PLQY, and efficient exciton harvesting. The resulting hyperfluorescent solution‐processed OLEDs reach up to 20.7% EQEmax with minimal efficiency roll‐off even at 10 000 cd m−2, demonstrating strong potential for ...

Treatment of c-MET Antibody-Drug Conjugate Asymptomatic Pneumonitis with a Novel Steroid Regimen in Non–Small Cell Lung Cancer: A Case Report [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Immunotherapy and Precision Oncology
Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) are a potent class of antineoplastic drugs that deliver cytotoxic agents via targeting with monoclonal antibodies; however, ADCs are associated with high rates of lung toxicities, limiting the therapeutic potential in many

A State‐Adaptive Koopman Control Framework for Real‐Time Deformable Tool Manipulation in Robotic Environmental Swabbing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.

ADC Testing with Verification

open access: yes2007 IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Technology Conference IMTC 2007, 2007
An important method for analog-to-digital-converter (ADC) testing is sine wave fitting. In this method, the device is excited with a sine wave, and another sine wave is fitted to the samples at the output of the ADC. The acquisition device can be analyzed by looking at the differences between the fitted signal and the samples. The fit is done using the
