Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

In situ formation of protein-polymer conjugates through reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer polymerization

open access: yes, 2007
(Figure Presented) A good place for rafting: Bovine serum albumin (BSA) was site-specifically modified with a reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) agent and used in γ-radiation-initiated polymerization of oligo(ethylene glycol ...

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Radical addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization of ferrocenyl (Meth)acrylates

open access: yes, 2012
We report on the controlled free radical homopolymerization of 1-ferrocenylethyl acrylate as well as of three new ferrocene bearing monomers, namely 4-ferrocenylbutyl acrylate, 2-ferrocenylamido-2-methylpropyl acrylate, and 4-ferrocenylbutyl methacrylate,

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Synthesis and application of some novel functional polymers via controlled radical polymerization and click chemistry [PDF]

open access: yes
The objective of this thesis was to prepare thermoresponsive PEG-based homopolymers and copolymers by combination of cobalt-mediated catalytic chain-transfer polymerization (CCTP) and thiol-ene “click” chemistry and prepare well-defined glycopolymers ...

Transesterification of poly(ethyl-α-hydroxymethacrylate) prepared via reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization

open access: yes, 2005
Intramolecular transesterification of a bifunctional 1,1-disubstituted monomer, poly(ethyl-α-hydroxymethacrylate), prepared via reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization was analyzed.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in
